In silico Protein-protein Interactions Prediction

Protein-protein interactions (PPIs) are crucial for understanding signaling cascades, predicting protein biological function, associating proteins with various diseases and insights into drug mechanism of action.

In general, studying PPIs methods are categorized as experimental or in silico/computational. Experimental approaches such as yeast two-hybrid screening, pull-down and co-immunoprecipitation assays have been generally applied to analyze and identify PPIs, further elucidate PPI networks (PPINs) and reveal the molecular recognition mechanisms of diverse types of PPIs. However, such experimental methods have their limitations, because of different physicochemical factors such as post-translational modification (PTM), transient dynamics, proteins with intrinsically disordered regions and physiological conditions. In addition, the experimental methods are costly, labor-intensive, time-consuming, and also easily produced false positive results for transient PPIs.

By contrast, with the development of deep learning and new specific algorithms and more data derived from structural biology and various "omics", in silico protein-protein interactions prediction has been demonstrated to provide more reliable qualitative and even quantitative results, complement the limitations of the experimental approaches and add to the robustness of biological insights obtained from the results of experimental approaches in low cost and in much less time.

As one of the well-known service providers in biotechnology field, Profacgen's analysis services utilize advanced bioinformatics analysis platform and proven expertise to help customers meet their project needs. Our in silico PPIs team has rich experience in the field, and can provide personalized PPI prediction services against the protein of interest. Services we offer including but not limited to:

In silico Protein-protein Interactions Prediction

  • In silico protein-protein interactions prediction (ISPPIsP)
  • In silico protein-protein interactions networks prediction (ISPPINsP)
  • In silico protein-protein interactions sites prediction (ISPPIsSP)

Significantly, it is worthy to note that in silico prediction must be carefully validated, preferably with experimental data. Thus, Profacgen could also provide subsequent experimental tests, to help you to further confirm potential interactions in vitro and in vivo.

Please contact us for more details of in silico protein-protein interactions services. Our expert representatives are available 24 hours a day, Monday through Friday, to assist you.
