Product description

Ammonia can be produced by the decomposition and metabolism of microbial proteins, and liver diseases can also affect ammonia levels. This kit utilizes the reaction of ammonia in a strong alkaline environment with hypochlorite and phenol to form the water-soluble dye indigo blue, which has a stable solution color. It has a characteristic absorption peak at 630nm, and the absorbance value is proportional to the ammonia content.
