Creatinine (CRE) is a product of muscle metabolism, primarily excreted by glomerular filtration. Under normal conditions, the body's creatinine content is relatively stable. The concentration of creatinine in the blood can be used as one of the indicators to detect glomerular filtration rate. This kit uses creatinine enzyme to specifically act on creatinine to form creatine, which is subsequently acted upon by creatine kinase and creatinine oxidase to generate hydrogen peroxide. Hydrogen peroxide reacts with the color developer to show a purple color, with the colored substance having the maximum absorption peak at 546nm, from which creatinine content is calculated.
