Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is one of the important reactive oxygen species, which not only has the ability to damage biological macromolecules and produce cytotoxicity but also acts as a signaling molecule, playing an important role in stress response to biotic and abiotic stresses, programmed cell death, and regulation of growth and development. In the sample, hydrogen peroxide reacts with a specific colorimetric reagent to form a colored substance, which has a characteristic absorption peak at 510nm, and the content of hydrogen peroxide in the sample can be calculated.
