Product description
BHB is catalyzed by β-hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase to form acetoacetate. NAD+ is reduced to NADH, which is measured at 340nm to calculate the BHB content in the sample.

UV spectrophotometer, 1mL quartz cuvette (optical path 1cm), pipette, centrifuge, distilled water.
