Product description
Lactose is broken down into galactose and glucose under the action of β-galactosidase, and then galactose is decomposed under the action of a complex enzyme containing galactose dehydrogenase, which reduces NAD+ to NADH. By detecting the increase of NADH at 340nm, the content of lactose and galactose can be calculated separately.
