Product description

Lipase (EC 3.1.1.3) is a special ester bond hydrolase that can catalyze the hydrolysis of natural fats and oils. It has a wide range of applications in many industrial fields such as food, medicine, detergents, and leather. This kit provides a simple and rapid detection method, using p-nitrophenyl ester as the substrate. Lipase hydrolyzes the substrate to produce colored p-nitrophenol, and its absorbance is measured at 405nm to determine the lipase activity.

Visible spectrophotometer, 1mL glass cuvette (optical path 1cm), mortar, low-temperature centrifuge, pipette, ice, and distilled water.
