Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4, 5 % trehalose and 5 % mannitol.
Molecular Mass
Recombinant Human FKBP7/Fc is a disulfide-linked homodimer. The reduced monomer comprises 436 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 49.4 kDa. The apparent molecular mass of the protein is approximately 55kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Endotoxin
< 1.0 EU per 1 microgram of protein (determined by LAL method).
Purity
> 90 % by SDS-PAGE.
Storage
In lyophilized state for 1 year (4°C); After reconstitution under sterile conditions for 3 months (-70°C). Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Reconstitution
Reconstitute in sterile distilled water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.

Background
Immunophilin protein with PPIase and co-chaperone activities. Component of unligated steroid receptors heterocomplexes through interaction with heat-shock protein 90 (HSP90). Plays a role in the intracellular trafficking of heterooligomeric forms of steroid hormone receptors maintaining the complex into the cytoplasm when unliganded.
