Soil laccase (Laccase) is a copper-containing polyphenol oxidase belonging to the family of copper blue oxidases and has strong redox capabilities. Soil laccase decomposes the substrate ABTS to produce ABTS radicals, which have a much greater absorbance coefficient at 420nm than the substrate ABTS. By measuring the increase rate of ABTS radicals, the activity of laccase can be calculated.
